Temperatures are expected to be cold as the storms move through. Daytime highs are not expected to exceed the high 50s until Saturday. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the low 40s in most of the region and into the high 30s in the most inland places.

The Bay Area’s latest storm system delivered a powerful mix of heavy winds, scattered thunderstorms and steady rainfall. Though flooding wasn’t reported Wednesday, the gusts were strong enough to knock out power.

The first in a series of storm systems blew into the Bay Area overnight. Heavy rain has moved into the North Bay and will soon impact San Francisco, according to the National Weather Service. Rain will then move south into the Central Coast later Wednesday afternoon into the evening.
