Microsoft has started the automatic rollout of Windows 11 version 24H2, also known as the Windows 11 2024 Update, to eligible devices. The update process started on Jan. 16, 2025, and as of now, it is for non-managed systems that use Windows 11 Home and Pro editions, as reported by Windows Latest.

Windows 11 24H2 shipped on October 1, 2024, as an optional upgrade for all existing users whether you meet system requirements or not. Starting January 16, 2025, Microsoft has begun automatically downloading Windows 11 24H2 on fully-compatible Windows 11 PCs.
