Russell Westbrook reportedly is entering free agency for the third consecutive offseason after opting out of his contract with the Denver Nuggets.

After one year with the Nuggets, Westbrook has reportedly decided to hit free agency and play for another team. He will seek a contract from another NBA team. According to Mark Stein, Westbrook is expected to decline his player option and enter free agency. Stein: Russell Westbrook to decline player option; will enter free agency.

Russell Westbrook will hit the free agency market at the end of June after a solid 2024 campaign with the Denver Nuggets. The veteran guard is predicted to go back to where it all started and sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder for one more ride.
