Water main break in Leander: Limited area of city under boil water notice

LEANDER, Texas - A water main break in Leander has impacted neighborhoods, businesses and schools, says the city. Now, some residents are being placed on a boil water notice. The city says on April 27, a private contractor caused damage to a transmission main, a primary feed from the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority to the area.
