Washington kicks off in El Paso at the Sun Bowl in a little over one week. The Huskies’ opponent, the Louisville Cardinals, will look a little different than they did throughout the 2024 season.

Less than 24 hours after arriving in El Paso, both the Washington and Louisville football teams got back to work, preparing for the 2024 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. Washington held its first practice since arriving in El Paso at Socorro Independent School District’s SAC II on Thursday.

The Huskies will make their fifth appearance in the Sun Bowl on Dec. 31. So here's a look back at UW's past four trips to El Paso.
