Uber, women riders

Lyft has added new personalization and safety features that allow for a better ride experience for both drivers and passengers. The ride-share app just announced that riders will now have the option to favorite drivers if they had a particularly great ride and want to use that same driver again.
Ride-sharing app Lyft on Thursday introduced a new feature that lets riders "favorite" drivers and choose to ride with them when they are available.
“Across the US, women riders and drivers have told us they want the option to be matched with other women on trips,” said Uber vice president of U.S. and Canada operations Camiel Irving in a press release. “We’ve heard them — and now we’re introducing new ways to give them even more control over how they ride and drive.”
Riders who have particularly pleasant rides will now get the option to favorite specific drivers, and the app's algorithm will make an effort to reconnect them with that driver for future rides. On the other end, the company explains, when a driver is favorited they will be notified and unlock priority access to future scheduled ride requests.
Lyft Inc. is letting riders “favorite” or block their rideshare drivers as part of a broader effort to keep both users and drivers on the platform.
Nashville International Airport (BNA) has changed its policy for rideshare dropoffs but its policies for taxis remains the same.
Like Uber, Lyft offers an array of ride choices to fit your personal needs. (Like Uber, however, we have only needed a standard Lyft or, at most, a Lyft XL for when accompanying a large group.) STOP!
