Casey Harrell, who lost his voice to ALS 5 years ago, can now communicate in real time thanks to an interface which turns brain activity into speech. Thousands of people lined Constitution Avenue while soldiers walked through the center of Washington.

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, festivities followed by a major military parade will happen on June 14 in Washington D.C.

The event featured thousands of soldiers, hundreds of vehicles and dozens of military aircraft and is estimated to have cost tens of millions of dollars.
