MIAMI (AP) — Tropical Storm Carlotta is growing stronger over the Pacific Ocean as it moves away from Mexico and could become a hurricane by Thursday night or Friday, forecasters said.

Forecasters are keeping an eye on the newly developed Tropical Storm Carlotta. The former Tropical Depression 3E, Carlotta was about 310 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, on Wednesday.
