Well, we weren't expecting this. The Rogue Prince of Persia is releasing on PS5 today, 20th August 2025, out of pretty much nowhere. We did know that the rogue-lite action platformer was leaving PC early access this month, but we thought a console launch would be a little further out.

The Rogue Prince of Persia has finally launched after a period in Early Access. The game is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
