Texas softball will play a familiar face Saturday when it takes the field in the College Softball World Series. The Longhorns (52-11) opened the tournament with a 3-0 win against Florida, thanks to first baseman Joley Mitchell's two home runs;

Star pitcher NiJaree Canady was stellar as the Red Raiders reached the semifinals for the first time in program history.

A spot in the semifinals is on the line on Saturday when Texas Tech takes on UCLA in the second round of the Women's College World Series.
