Strictly Come Dancing, the long-running British reality competition that inspired the U.S. hit Dancing with the Stars, crowned RuPaul’s Drag Race UK alumna Tayce as the winner of its Christmas special.

Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas champion Tayce Szura-Radix is reportedly lined up for the main series.

Tayce Szura-Radix has made history, becoming the first drag queen to win the UK version of Strictly Come Dancing . Szura-Radix, best known for appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2021, triumphed in the Christmas special of the dance show, winning the contest with professional partner Kai Widdrington.

The winners of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special have been announced, with the likes of Josh Widdicombe, Vogue Williams, Tayce, Tamzin Outhwaite, and Billy Monger taking part

On her comeback after lockdown, Tayce went from strength to strength and, was a member of Drag Race girl group, the United Kingdolls, who landed a huge hit on the iTunes chart with their version of UK Hun. Tayce ended up finishing third in the season 2 final in 2021, before touring the UK with United Kingdolls and as a solo act.

Tayce Szura-Radix is a 30-year-old professional drag queen and model from Wales. She first shot to prominence in 2021 as a contestant on the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK – which in itself proved to be a notable season as filming was forced into postponement due to the Covid pandemic.
