PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers get a few games for free, and Sony has officially announced the free games for March 2025, one of which

PS Plus is Sony’s monthly membership program that grants access to online gaming. You don’t need it for streaming movies or TV shows on Netflix and other services, or for free-to-play games like Warzone or Fortnite. Any paid online games, however, require a subscription.

The inclusion of the recent Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an interesting choice, possibly spurred by the game falling short of EA’s sales projections and leading to mass layoffs within its developer BioWare, leaving the company with under 100 employees to develop the next Mass Effect.

February is coming to a close and we have a lot of new PlayStation Plus games in March to look forward to. Until they hit the service, why not play these games?

Sony has announced the lineup of free PS Plus games for February 2025. Members on PS5 will be able to get a free copy of the recently released Dragon Age: The Veilguard. In this action RPG, players will step into the role of Rook,
