WASHINGTON, DC (ANI) – Former Union Minister Smriti Irani, spoke on the importance of expanding gender equity in India, while speaking at the World Bank. She also pointed out the strides made by India in the direction.

During her meeting in Washington, Smriti Irani highlighted the need for effective implementation of gender equity policies to ensure that women, especially in developing regions, can contribute to both government and industry while realising their full potential.
