A line of severe storms triggered a tornado warning in Will County and a tornado watch for a large swath of the southwest suburbs and northwest Indiana Wednesday afternoon, bringing dangerous wind, hail and blinding downpours.

Another line of severe storms is barreling toward the Chicago area, prompting a tornado watch through early evening in the southwest suburbs and Northwest Indiana.

Central Indiana was hit by a line of severe storms Wednesday evening resulting in tornado warnings for several counties.
