BSE Sensex and Nifty50, the Indian equity benchmark indices, tanked in trade today. While BSE Sensex dipped over 500 points, Nifty50 was below 23,000.

The BSE Sensex declined 573.81 points or 0.75 per cent to 75,616.65. Nifty stood at 22,919.15, down 173.05 points or 0.75 per cent. Zomato Ltd declined 2 per cent to Rs 211 and was the worst Sensex performer.
