Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday criticised the Central government over the deportation of alleged illegal Indian immigrants from the United States, questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi's stance on the issue.

The deported Indians alleged that their hands and legs were cuffed throughout the journey and they were unshackled only after landing at the Amritsar airport.
