WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is planning to appear with Polish President Andrzej Duda in the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Sunday, according to two sources familiar with the plan.

Polish Americans are an important, if politically overlooked, demographic. But in Pennsylvania, many have tended to lean Republican.

Former president Donald Trump and Polish President Andrzej Duda will visit a Polish Marian shrine in the suburbs of Philadelphia on Sept. 22.

Polish President Andrzej Duda may meet with Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state, ahead of the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election. Both leaders have been invited to a Solidarity monument unveiling.
