Netflix has announced a fifth season renewal for Emily in Paris, with Lily Collins as the titular Emily now a resident in Rome. Collins, who broke the news on ABC ’s Good Morning America, posted a an Instagram reel that said, “There’s no place like Rome.”

Emily in Paris was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 back in January 2022, only a month after season 2 premiered, so the timing of this renewal is spot-on with Netflix's previous patterns.

On Monday, Sept. 16, Lily Collins, who plays the titular character, announced that Emily in Paris has been renewed for season 5 on Good Morning America. In an Instagram video, the actress can be seen sipping an espresso as she says, “There’s no place like Rome.”
