It happened again. For the second time this year, the Trump administration has halted the construction of a massive offshore wind farm being built to power blue states.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management stopped all activity related to the 704-megawatt wind farm that has contracts to deliver power to RI and CT.

The project, which began construction after receiving final federal approval last year, is 80% complete with 45 out of 65 wind turbines installed.
