Venezuela announces a $100,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of the opposition candidate who said he defeated Maduro in the presidential election.

Venezuelan authorities announced Thursday they are offering $100,000 for information leading to the capture of opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, who has left exile in Spain and is on his way to Argentina.

Venezuela's government on Thursday announced a $100,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of Edmundo González, the opposition candidate who claims to have defeated President Nicolás Maduro in last year's election.

Venezuela's government has offered a $100,000 (£81,000) reward for information leading to the arrest of the opposition's exiled presidential candidate Edmundo González. He fled the country in September and was granted political asylum in Spain after Venezuela's authorities ordered his arrest,
