She dropped five shots off the pace but rallied late in the day, making birdies on Nos. 14, 15 and 18. The final putt, from 6 feet, hit the right edge of the cup and spun all the way around before dropping.

By the time Korda, the world's No. 1 player, made the turn she was 4-over for the day and had tumbled all the way to a tie for 14th, five shots beyond a trio of co-leaders in Saigo, Rio Takeda and Maja Stark.
