Vermont State Police cited 40-year-old Michael Wilder of Worcester following a monthslong investigation into the death of 26-year-old Elizabeth Visocan of Plainfield.

A local man was charged in connection with the overdose death of a Plainfield woman, Vermont State Police reported. Authorities responded to the scene at a residence on 557 East Hill Road on Jan. 8 at 3:41 p.

A Vermont man is accused of providing the drugs that killed a Plainfield woman in January. Michael Wilder, 40, of Worcester, is due in Washington Superior Court Criminal Division next month on the charge of dispensing a regulated drug with death resulting.
