Marcus Morris Sr. is a Knick once again. The team announced Morris signed an Exhibit 9 contract Sunday, which brings the veteran forward back to the city where he played 43 games during the 2019-20 season. An Exhibit 9 contract, however, is a non-guaranteed, one-year deal that protects the team in case of a significant injury to the player.

Marcus Morris, a 6-foot-8, 218-pound, 35-year-old Philadelphia native, who played at KU from 2008 to 2011, has agreed to a one-year Exhibit 9 deal with the New York Knicks, the team announced Sunday. Markieff Morris, also a Jayhawk forward from 2008 to 2011, recently signed a one-year agreement with the Dallas Mavericks.

The New York Knicks have signed veteran forward Marcus Morris and guard Landry Shamet to Exhibit 9 deals, the team announced over the weekend. The contracts serve as a training camp invite, giving Morris and Shamet a chance to make the final roster.
