The same Panthers team that Lorentz, Ekman-Larsson and Stolarz, now members of the Toronto Maple Leafs, are preparing to face in the Eastern Conference Second Round beginning with Game 1 of the best-of-7 series at Scotiabank Arena on Monday (8 p.m. ET; CBC, SN, TVAS, ESPN).

The Maple Leafs haven’t made it to Round 3 in 23 years, and it will be a grind to change that against the Florida Panthers.

The second round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs is about to begin, and there are plenty of strong matchups upcoming. One of the more intriguing ones comes from the Eastern Conference, where the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers are set to square off.
