‘Exciting’ Luke Keaschall brings dynamic skill set to athlete-starved Twins
Keaschall didn’t take long to show off his ability on Tuesday, though his contributions were with the bat and not his legs. Facing former Twin Chris Paddack in the first inning, Keaschall extended the lead to 3-0 when he ripped a cut fastball 402 feet for a two-run shot, his first big-league homer.
Twins' Luke Keaschall: Homers in return
In his first MLB at-bat since April 25, Keaschall ripped a two-run shot for his first career home run. He later knocked an RBI single in the fifth inning. Keaschall fractured his forearm in April but picked up right where he left off before the injury. He's produced a 1.185 OPS with five RBI and five stolen bases through 30 plate appearances.
