The Indianapolis Colts host the Green Bay Packers in NFL preseason action on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Green Bay Packers will finish up a three-day trip to Indianapolis with a preseason game against the Colts on Saturday afternoon. Although veterans and most starters aren't expected to play, the preseason clash at Lucas Oil Stadium is still an important evaluation opportunity for coach Matt LaFleur and general manager Brian Gutekunst following Thursday's competitive joint practice.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love underwent surgery on his non-throwing hand and expects to be ready for Week 1.

For the second time in as many seasons, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love could be limited early in the campaign. ESPN insider Adam Schefter broke the news that Love will have to go under the knife.

It sounds like the surgery to repair a ligament in Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love's left thumb was a success. Though Love will miss some training camp as he recovers, coach Matt LaFleur said that Love is already back with the team as it goes through its joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts .
