Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz has paid tribute to the character of Lukas Nmecha during his bouts of injury, with the attacker arriving at Leeds United with a notable track record of setbacks.

The 26-year-old will become Leeds' first signing of the summer transfer as Daniel Farke looks to improve his squad following the Whites' promotion back to the Premier League. Nmecha started his career with Manchester City and had loan spells with Preston North End, Wolfsburg, Middlesbrough, and Anderlecht.
