Even with J.T. Miller on the New York Rangers, new information continues to come out about his time with the Vancouver Canucks. Miller took a ten-game leave of absence earlier in the season for reasons that still remain unidentified.

The New York Rangers are not finished reshaping their roster after acquiring J.T. Miller, according to The New York Post’s Larry Brooks. With $9.6 million in current cap space available ahead of the March 7 trade deadline, according to PuckPedia, Brooks expects general manager Chris Drury to continue making moves.

Miller’s teammates have praised his leadership and ability to communicate on the bench and on the ice. Coach Peter Laviolette highlighted how Miller drove to the net with the Rangers trailing the Golden Knights 2-1 early in the third period Sunday and liked how he “just got into some scuffles and just mixed it up. We needed more of that.”
