Barr lost his 197-pound title bout Saturday night to Iowa senior star Stephen Buchanan in front of President Donald Trump and a packed Wells Fargo Center Crowd. It was his second defeat to Buchanan this season for Barr, who finishes him first PSU season with a 20-4 record.

In Penn State’s final match of the evening, 197-pounder Josh Barr fell to Iowa’s Stephen Buchanan, 5-2. Barr earned a point for an escape and a locked hands by Buchanan, but wasn’t able to get a takedown to tie the match in the end.
