SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole have challenged each other since the Golden State Warriors drafted Poole 28th overall in 2019. They would see who could make more shots in a row in practice and go at it in scrimmages, friendly competition that helped bring out the best in each other.

Poole obviously has a lot of love for the Warriors and his time with the team—he was part of the 2022 NBA championship, for instance. However, his time with Golden State is often overshadowed by one incident with Draymond Green.

Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole didn’t leave the Golden State Warriors on the friendliest of terms in 2023. But after scoring 38 points in Washington’s 122-114 loss Saturday, Poole insisted there were no hard feelings.
