Zverev beats Rune to reach Paris Masters final against Humbert
Alexander Zverev overcame a brief second-set hiccup as he beat Holger Rune 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) on Saturday to reach the final of the Paris Masters tournament for the second time. Third seed Zverev failed to serve out the match at 5-4 but regrouped in the deciding tie-break where he wrapped up matters against the 2022 champion Rune with a backhand volley on second match point after 1 hour 46 minutes.
