Federal authorities have issued an advisory warning people of Medusa ransomware that has breached the data of more than 300 people since February.

The FBI is warning users of popular email services such as Outlook and Gmail that they could be subject to cyberattacks by ransomware called Medusa, which has impacted more than 300 victims from a number of sectors,

The FBI is asking people and companies to take extra steps to protect their Outlook, Gmail, and other popular accounts.
