Two road stages and a time trial will open the 108th edition of the 'corsa rosa.' Remainder of Giro route will be disclosed by next month.

The start of the 2025 Giro d'Italia, known as Grande Partenza, will take place in Albania, organizers said in a statement on Monday. The country will host the first three stages of the traditional cycling tour on May 9-11.

Albania will host the opening three stages of the race, which begins on 9 May, with the first one taking the riders from Durres to Tirana, before an individual time trial in the capital city and the third stage begins and ends in Vlore.
