With the Milwaukee Brewers winning their 12th straight game, it sets into motion something very Wisconsin and very special: free George Webb burgers.
The restaurant chain made a pact years ago to hand out free eats if the Brewers won 12 games in a row, which they did last week.
“He called 911 because they won’t give him his free burgers for the Brewers game (Wednesday), was advised the game wasn’t over, not sure if the subject is still standing by,” said an individual in dispatch audio obtained by WISN 12 News in Wisconsin. Someone called 911 because they wouldn’t give him his Free Brewers Burger.
To mark 12 straight Brewers wins, the chain is giving out free burgers for only the third time in its history.
