The U.S. dollar (DXY) held steady on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s deadline for the U.S. and China to strike a tariff deal.  The greenback was last up 0.30% at $98.50. Investors are also keeping an eye out for the inflation report due this week which could help determine the Federal Reserve’s policy direction.
