The Guardians have won four of their last five games and 10 of their last 12 entering a July 23 game against the Orioles.

The Orioles let another close game slip away as Colin Selby gave up the go-ahead run in the eighth inning of a 3-2 loss to the Guardians.

The Baltimore Orioles face the Cleveland Guardians in the third game of a 4-game set at Progressive Field in Cleveland Wednesday.

Baltimore’s Ryan O’Hearn, with two out in the third, sent a grounder to third baseman Jose Ramirez. Santana tried to scoop Ramirez’s throw, but it hit his glove and fell out. Former Guardian Ramon Laureano, the next batter, added an extra sting to the error by homering off Tanner Bibee for a 5-3 lead.
