Justin Turner’s two-run, walk-off double scored Vidal Bruján and Nico Hoerner to put the Chicago Cubs on top of the Miami Marlins, 5-4.

With Marlins left-hander Ryan Weathers on the mound Wednesday, shortstop Dansby Swanson, a right-handed hitter, led off instead of center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, a left-handed hitter. It was the 41st time in Swanson’s career that he started in the leadoff spot and his first as a Cub.

There were many Chicago Cubs fans wondering if Justin Turner might be DFA’d on Tuesday so the team could call up rookie catcher Moises Ballesteros to help fill a gap in the lineup after left fielder Ian Happ was placed on the 10-day injured list for an oblique injury.
