Cheryl ’s young son Bear could be blocked from inheriting his father’s multi-million pound fortune until he is at least 25-years-old, sources suggest. A source close to the Girls Aloud singer has claimed she wants to protect her son until he is at an age where he can make “informed decisions” about the money.

The 31-year-old, who first found fame through the X Factor, died after falling from the third floor balcony of his hotel, the CasaSur Palermo, in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 16 October 2024. A UK inquest found the star died of “polytrauma”.

Liam Payne's $32.2 million estate has been left to administrators Cheryl, with whom he shared son Bear, and attorney Richard Mark Bray after the singer died in October with no will.
