Avengers: Doomsday star Robert Downey Jr has sent Marvel fans into a frenzy over his latest reading material for the MCU movie.
A year ago, when it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, fans went absolutely wild. In just about a year and a half from now, we’ll get to see Avengers: Doomsday, but there are already a lot of questions about what happens next.
This in turn establishes roughly where Spider-Man: Brand New Day will take place in the lead up to Avengers: Doomsday, the events of which kick off 14 months after Thunderbolts*, according to that film's post-credits scene, which appears to show the arrival of the Fantastic Four in the MCU from their alternate timeline of Earth-828.
