Oregon has won some massive recruiting battles during Dan Lanning‘s tenure, including a few in the 2026 class. But it’d be hard to argue many were bigger than landing five-star edge rusher Anthony Jones over both Texas A&M and Alabama on Thursday.

The Oregon Ducks landed class of 2026 edge rusher Anthony "Tank" Jones on Thursday. The five-star recruit went on The Pat McAfee Show and announced he would be committing to Dan Lanning and Oregon over the Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas A&M Aggies.

After 5-star EDGE Anthony 'Tank' Jones committed to the Oregon Ducks, fans at the Pat McAfee show erupted in a chorus of boos.
