New Delhi: A Hong Kong–Delhi Air India flight caught fire shortly after landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. The incident, which involved the plane’s auxiliary power unit (APU), occurred as passengers had begun disembarking, but no injuries were reported.

An Air India spokesperson said that the incident happened when the plane from Kochi attempted landing at the Mumbai airport amid heavy rainfall on Monday.
