Wind gusts dramatically increased fire activity on Tuesday afternoon March 25. This resulted in greater visible fire intensity and smoke.

The Table Rock Complex Fire in South Carolina has reached more than 13,000 acres in size, surpassing the 2016 Pinnacle Mountain Fire.We are monitoring the Table Rock fire and the Persimmon Ridge Fire around the clock and will provide updates here.

The Table Rock Complex Fire is almost at complete containment after burning thousands of acres of land in Greenville and Pickens County in South Carolina. The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said a fire at the top of the mountain in Table Rock State Park was caused by a negligent act by four teenage hikers on March 21.
