The first week in March is probably going to still be VERY cold and snowy. There's always snow showing, cross country skiing, and snowmobile-ing if you want to play in the snow. The town of West Yellowstone is quiet in the winter. Lots of the shops and restaurants shut down for the winter season. The park itself will be pretty but the steam coming off of the springs and geysers will make it tricky to see.
