The younger kids loved the tube slide, and the teen loved the ropes course and zip line. We’d never tried the summer activities at the ski area before, but we were impressed. Safety foremost, yet a c… Full review by vikingkim5

The main chair lift will take you to the day lodge at the top of the mountain and if you're there before 3PM you can get something to eat. Food is only fair, even for a ski lodge. The ride is a bit… Full review by 617erinc

Red River, NM. The best place to ski in NM. We love the small, quaint town. We visited other ski towns, on this trip, in the area and Red River is the best. Full review by Fearless66779234075

RRSA is a great place to learn! Get in early and get signed up (Look for Sybil.)! Lessons definitely- first morning! I started out skiing, so I might be a little biased. Our youngest son (9)- snowboard. Our oldest son (11)- skis. Snowboard might be the easiest to start and then transition. Youngest said it was easy to learn to snowboard. He fell quite a bit the first day. Oldest said skis were easier, but making the turns were hard. After watching both, board looks easier. I let them choose. Have fun!
