We arrived at the castle at about 10am on Thursday 3rd July, no queues, and castle was not busy. I noticed the castle opened at 08:00. It was very hot, but there is quite a lot of shade

Dear Suzanne, do not worry, tfere are different pats with different slopes, you could choose that which you need; you need 30 min to follow the longer one actialy, it's better not to climb too quickly, to have time to touch the stones, to see the litlle lizards, to enjoy the astonishing view do not forget, the sun could tough even in May, cover your heads; also, water is a must
