In our opinion, this is the very best part of The Park. About a 7 mile drive from White's City, the closest town. If you are eligible for handicapped parking, there is a turn off on the left side we… Full review by HawaiiKaiGail

It's not very often that you get a chance to see a natural phenomenon such as this. Be aware that this is nature at work, and not something on a time schedule, so you just have to sit and be patient.… Full review by Karen M

That depends on Sunset. Best bet is to contact one of the rangers or be there a little before Sunset on the day you planning to be there. I looked up what time sunset was on the weather channel and we planned accordingly since we could not get anyone to answer the phone. They have a program they go through to educate everyone on the bats and that was fun to hear so it is best to get there a little early, but not too early. There was plenty of seating for the day we went.

Hello Sit as close as you can to the front. That way your view will not be obstructed by others. We were just there on 10 May and the Park Ranger gave a great program. And the Bats were better than my expeditions. Enjoy!
Can anyone tell me what sort of amount I can expect to see of bats at the minute (trying to decide whether to travel out of our way or if we’re too early in the season)? Thanks
A:
We were there a few days ago. Probably saw 100,000 or more bats. 20 solid minutes of bats flying out of the caverns. Go and enjoy them. It is not too early.
