Cloud saves are crap on Steam for a lot of games, nowhere near as good as the xbox console (cloud saves also suck on the windows store).

Be warned that some people still have trouble running that game and the online has been kind of broken since launch years ago. Still, only $10 max and with steam refunds, it's worth a shot.
